Policy Overview

WondersDW Store sells pre-owned, used, refurbished and clearance electronic products. We handle returns and refunds in line with our store policy and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Because our products are pre-owned, signs of normal use may be present. Please read the product description, condition notes and included accessories carefully before placing your order.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You may also be entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Returns & Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

When You May Be Eligible for a Remedy

You may be eligible for a repair, replacement, refund or other suitable remedy if the product:

  • has a major fault or failure;
  • does not match the product description;
  • is not of acceptable quality;
  • is not fit for its disclosed purpose;
  • arrives damaged due to a shipping or handling issue; or
  • has an issue covered by a stated warranty or consumer guarantee.

Change of Mind Returns

Change of mind returns may be accepted at our discretion. If accepted, the product must usually be returned in the same condition as received, with all included accessories, packaging where applicable and proof of purchase.

Change of mind returns may not be available for all products, especially where the item has been used, damaged, altered, missing accessories or is no longer in the same condition.

Please contact us before sending any item back. Returns sent without approval may be delayed or refused.

Return Conditions

Return Type Condition Required Important Notes
Faulty Item Issue must be clearly described and assessed. Photos, videos or testing evidence may be requested.
Incorrect Item Product must match the issue reported. Please contact us with your order number and product photos.
Damaged in Transit Report the issue as soon as possible. Keep packaging and provide clear photos of the parcel and product.
Change of Mind Item must be unused after delivery and in the same condition. Approval is at our discretion and shipping fees may apply.

What May Not Be Eligible for Return

A return may be declined where the issue is caused by customer use, accidental damage or a condition that was clearly disclosed before purchase.

  • Accidental damage, drops, cracks or impact damage
  • Liquid damage or moisture exposure
  • Misuse, neglect or improper handling
  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications or opened devices
  • Software issues caused by user-installed apps, settings or updates
  • Data loss, account locks, passwords or user security settings
  • Normal cosmetic wear, scratches, marks, dents or keyboard shine
  • Battery degradation from normal use in pre-owned devices
  • Missing accessories that were supplied with the order
  • Items returned without prior approval where approval is required

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank or card issuer.

Shipping fees may not be refundable unless required by law or unless the return is due to our error or an eligible product fault.

Returning Electronic Devices

Before returning any electronic device, please back up your data, remove personal files, sign out of accounts and disable passwords or account locks.

Returned devices should be packed securely to reduce the risk of damage in transit.

We are not responsible for data loss. Please remove all personal information before returning a device.

Return Shipping

Return shipping responsibility may depend on the reason for return and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If the return is due to a valid product fault or our error, we will advise you of the available options. For change of mind returns, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
